Assignment #1-5

Email Signature

First, create a DropBox account.  You will use it for this assignment and additional assignments throughout the term.

Next, upload an image of you (you can take a nice selfie in class) to your Dropbox account. When you need the photo for your email signature you will use the link/URL for the image and insert it into the template.

Now, let's make your email look better.  You will create a professional signature. Go to the Hubspot Signature Generator. Read the directions carefully and create a professional signature.  It must include an image--meaning a picture of you that you downloaded to Dropbox.

The following must be used in your signature:

  • Name

  • Phone

  • Email

  • Website Link

  • Social Media accounts if you have them. (you can get the URL with your phone in school since most are blocked)

  • Address

Follow the directions to add the signature to your email program. There are several different templates that will give you a variety of "looks" so try them out and pick the best one!

Add to your email account (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, Yahoo )

Then, send me an email as follows:

Send to: ReachMe@TheMarketingTeacher.com

Subject Line: Period-Last-Signature (1-McCauley-Signature)

Content:  In the body of the email write to me about anything you want, keeping in mind what you should have learned from the articles above.

Also, clip it/image capture it and insert it on the Assignment 1-5 page as an image.
