Assignment #3-2

Telecommuting

You are to gather information for a report on the Pros and Cons of Telecommuting from the perspective of both the employee and employer. You are to write a "speech" on this topic. The speech must be at least 3 MINUTES and no longer than 5 MINUTES. Save the speech on the  Assignment # 3-2 tab as a Word Document, a PDF Document, and a Slide Deck.

Then . . . you will deliver your speech to the class.  You may use visual aids if you wish (if you do the slide deck correctly it will be perfect to use in class!)  . . . but remember what you learned about slide decks and visual aids earlier in the year.  If you use a visual aid (beyond a slide deck) , place it on the Assignment #3-2 tab with all the above materials.

Keep this in mind.  You want to cover the following in your report/speech:

• What is telecommuting (include examples)

• What do employers see as the advantages of telecommuting?

• What do employees see as the advantages of telecommuting?

• What do employers see as the disadvantages of telecommuting?

• What do employees see as the disadvantages of telecommuting?

• Why would you want or not want to telecommute?
